原标题：邂逅暹罗|我在泰国的首次义工经历Firstofallbeinginthecountrywaslovelyasthelocalswereveryfriendlyandmademefeelwelcome.Ilovedworkingintheschool,thestaffattheschoolmadeusfeelverywelcomeandwereveryhospitable.ItwasagreatexperiencetoknowthatthechildrenwerealsolearningEnglishwetaughtthemwell.Thiswasequallythesameattheelephantvillage,IfeltIwaspartofacommunityandoneofthelocals.Wewereprettymuchdoingmostofthethingstheyweredoing.Intheelephantvillage,wewereveryproactiveinhelpingtheelephantsandgettingfoodforthem.Despiteallthehardworkwespentduringthedayitfeltveryrewardingwhenfeedingtheelephantsandlookingafterthem.Theinteractionwehadwhengivingtheelephantstheirfoodwasworthwhile.Theywereactuallywrigglingtheirtrunksaskingformorefood!Allinalltheexperienceinitselfmademefeelappreciatedthatthisvolunteeringwasworththetrip.首先，泰国的当地人非常友好，来到这里让我有一种宾至如归的感觉。我喜欢在学校的志愿工作，学校里的工作人员很欢迎我们的到来，他们非常热情好客。这是一个很好的经验，这里孩子们很喜欢学英语，我们也非常用心的去教导他们。在大象保护中心我也感受到同样待遇，我感觉到自己融入了这个社区，成为了这里的一部分。我们做着当地人同样的事情，分担他们每天的工作。在这里，我们非常积极地帮助他们和为大象提供食物。尽管我们的工作很辛苦，但是在喂养和照看大象的过程中，让我感觉到无限的满足和收获。我们喂大象吃东西的过程非常有趣，他们不停扭动他们的鼻子，要求我们给予更多的食物！总而言之，我自己的经历让我感觉到这次志愿者之旅是非常值得的。Abouttheaccommodationsandmeals关于这里的住宿和膳食Week1–Teaching,Theaccommodationwaspracticalitdidthejob.Ilikedthefactthatitwasbasicsowecouldgetafeeloflivingwithbasicamenityconditions.Ilikedthefactthatourwindowswereprotectedbymosquitonetsandthatwehadacouplefansinourroom.Therewerefewrestaurantsnearbywhichwererelativelycheap,hadwi-fiandhadgoodfood.Thelocationofwherewestayedwasgoodastheyhadabigshoppingmallwhichhadabankthere.第一周支教项目的住宿还算可以，虽然简陋但还是很舒适的。我喜欢这里的简单，让我们可以感受到舒适生活的基本。我们房间的窗户都装上了蚊帐，我们房间里还有几把风扇。在学校的附近有几家餐馆，价格很便宜，有Wi-Fi，也有美味的菜肴。我们住宿的地方很方便，附近有一个大型购物中心和银行。Week2–Elephantvillage,Ilovedtheaccommodationintheelephantvillageandenjoyedtheexperienceoflivinginaruralarea.Thehammocksoutsidewasmyfavoritechairtositon.Everyonewantedtositintherewheneveritwasfree!Thehousewelivedinforourhomestaywasspaciousandincludedmosquitonetsinthebedrooms.Ialsolovedthefactthattheelephantslivedclosetousbecausewecouldhelpoutmostofthetime.Especiallyduringourfreetime.Themealsweregreat!Ireallyenjoyedthemealswhichthehostprepared.Weweregivenavarietyoflocaldishesandhadatleast2optionsonwhattoeat.Iwasalsoabletohelpthehostwiththecookingandtheygavemetipsonhowtomakethelocalfoodmyself.第二周大象保护中心，我喜欢这里的宿舍，喜欢住在农村的生活体验。我最喜欢坐在屋子外的吊床上。每个人都想坐在那里，当然这是免费的！我们的宿舍很宽敞，卧室里有蚊帐。大象就住在我们屋子的旁边靠的非常近，这样我们可以无时无刻地去帮助和照顾他们。特别是在我们空闲的时候，也可以随时去和他们互动。这里的饭菜棒极了！我真的很喜欢营地工作人员为我们准备的饭菜。我们吃到了各种各样的当地菜肴，至少有2种选择可以吃。我还可以在厨房帮忙做饭，营地工作人员教了我如何制作当地的食物。TherearesomanygoodexperiencesIhad,hardtomentionatone!Iwouldsaytheoverallvolunteeringexperienceinitself.IlovedthefactthatIcouldspendeachweekdoingtwodifferentprojects,itwasthebestofbothworlds!Theoverallexperiencewasamazing,beinginthemoreruralpartsandmeetinglocals.Theschoolwewereteachinginwasabsolutelylovelythechildrenweresowelcomingandfriendlyandtheprinciplewassorespectfulandfriendly.Iabsolutelylovedspendingtimewiththeelephantsintheelephantvillage.Wetookthemtobath,gavethemfood,wecouldseehowtheyinteracted.Itwassucharemarkableexperiencetobesoclosetosuchananimal.还有很多很好志愿服务的经历，一次说不完！我最喜欢的是我可以每周体验一个不同的项目，两个项目的经历都是非常棒的！总体经历是让人毕生难忘的，体验农村地区的生活和当地人交流。我们在学校教学的时光非常幸福，孩子们非常开心和友好，校长也很感激我们的贡献。我非常喜欢在大象保护中心里和大象一起的时光。我们带他们去洗澡，给他们喂食，我们可以感受到他们的互动。这么亲近地和大象接触，真是一次非凡的经历。JointheCBEvolunteeringprojectandexperienceyourself.责任编辑：
